Cote Scores Pair for Hoosac Girls in Win

ADAMS, Mass. -- The Hoosac Valley girls soccer team Tuesday scored four second half goals en route to a 5-0 win over Drury at Renfrew Park.
 
Carah Cote scored the first of her two goals in the second minute of play, but Drury was able to clamp down defensively from there to trail by just a goal at half-time.
 
Maddie Vigna doubled the Hurricanes’ lead in the 43rd minute with an assist from Cote.
 
Cote then scored again in the 52nd minute, and Claudia Bresett scored two minutes later.
 
Madison Graves set up Shaleigh Levesque in the 74th minute to provide the final margin of victory.
 
Alli Brassard stopped 11 shots for Drury. Kailynne Frederick earned the shutout in goal for Hoosac.
 
The Hurricanes (8-3-1) host Frontier on Thursday while Drury (2-11-1) hosts Mount Everett.
