CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Shaleigh Levesque scored in the 76th minute Saturday to give the Hoosac Valley girls soccer team a 2-2 tie with Swampscott.

The Hurricanes (4-2-3) came back from an early 1-0 deficit to tie the game the first time, and rebounded again after the visitors scored with about six minutes left in the second ha.f

“Coming back from behind both times -- not giving up -- is a great mental win for us,” Hoosac Valley coach Kathy Budaj said. “Both teams made great plays offensively and defensively.”

Sydni Jamross scored on an assist from Alie Mendel for Hoosac’s first goal, early in the second half.

Levesque scored an unassisted goal late to earn the stalemate.
