Lussier Leads Wahconah Past Drury

DALTON, Mass. -- Bridget Lussier scored four goals to lead the Wahconah girls soccer team to a 10-2 win over Drury on Saturday.
 
The Blue Devils scored the game's first goal when Jenna Moulton converted an assist from Jill Tietgens in the fourth minute of the contest.
 
But Wahconah (13-2-1) scored the next five, starting with Erin Hopmans' goal to tie it on an assist from Arden McKnight.
 
A few minutes later, Hopmans returned the favor, feeding McKnight for the go-ahead goal.
 
Lussier capped the five-goal run with her first of the game about 32 minutes in.
 
Drury's Aubrey Rumbolt then made it 5-2 when she scored with help from Katie Toomey.
 
Lussier scored in the final minute of the first half and twice more in beginning of the second to put the game out of reach at 8-2.
 
Heather Morris made 15 saves for Drury (4-10-1).
 
Drury hosts Hoosac Valley on Wednesday in its season finale.
 
Wahconah hosts Pittsfield on Tuesday evening.
