Pittsfield, Wahconah Girls Play to 0-0 Tie
PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Pittsfield’s Hayley Tobin and Wahconah’s Michaella Moncecchi combined for 27 saves Monday as their teams played to a 0-0 stalemate at Kirvin Park.
“It was a well-played Berkshire County Northern Division battle played by both teams,” Pittsfield coach Andy Waluszko said.
Tobin (14 saves) made a big stop with about eight minutes left to play to preserve the shutout for Pittsfield (1-5-3), which goes to Ludlow next Monday.
Wahconah (4-5-2) hosts Weston on Saturday.
