DALTON, Mass. -- Amelia Daugherty scored twice and set up her team’s third goal Saturday as the Wahconah girls soccer team defeated Mount Greylock, 3-2.

Daugherty opened the scoring with an unassisted goal in the 10th minute, but Mount Greylock’s Aleya Cappadonna 24 seconds got the equalizer on an assist from Madison Ross.

But just a little over a minute later, Daugherty set up Emmy Cote outside the 18, and Cote drilled a shot into the back of the net to put Wahconah up, 2-1.

Allison Washburn set up Daugherty for her second goal to give Wahconah a 3-1 lead at half-time.

Mount Greylock drew within a goal in the second half when Ross assisted Caroline Flynn on her team-leading seventh goal of the season.

Rachel Voller and Isabella Nicastro combined for 11 saves for Mount Greylock (7-8-1), which closes the regular season at Pittsfield and home against Westfield on Saturday evening.

Sage Howes had nine saves for Wahconah (9-4-2), which hosts Easthampton on Monday.
