ADAMS, Mass. -- The Hoosac Valley girls soccer team is fit to be tied.

Grace Kronick’s goal answered a free kick by Monument Mountain’s Molly Flynn as the Hurricanes and Spartans battled to a 1-1 stalemate under the lights at Renfrew Park on Monday.

Kayley Winn set up Kronick for the equalizer.

Monument Mountain’s Helen Pajeski and Hoosac Valley’s Gabby Billetz dueled in the opposing goals, accounting for 10 and six saves, respectively.

“A great North [Division] battle for the girls on Senior Night,” Hoosac Valley coach Kathy Budaj said. “I was happy to see them play so hard. I just wish we could put the ball in the net more. It’s something we have struggled with this season -- seeing how we have five ties, all against North teams.”

Hoosac Valley (4-3-5) goes to Mount Everett on Tuesday.

Monument Mountain (6-4-3) goes to Pittsfield on Friday.
