Ross' Hat Trick Lifts Mount Greylock Girls over Lenox

LENOX, Mass. -- Madison Ross opened the game with a natural hat trick to lead the Mount Greylock girls soccer team to a 5-1 win over Lenox on Friday.
 
Ross scored with a pair of assists from Clara McWeeny and one from Livia Morales in the first 28 minutes.
 
McWeeney scored midway through the second half to make it 4-0 before Lenox’s Mary Elliot got the Millionaires on the board.
 
Jane Skavlem capped the scoring with an unassisted tally for Mount Greylock in the 74th minute.
 
Brianna Dowling and Delaney Babcock combined to make six saves to earn the win in goal.
 
Taylor Knight and Julia Haddad combined to make nine stops for Lenox (6-5), which hosts Mount Everett on Monday.
 
Mount Greylock (8-1-1) goes to Pittsfield on Monday.
