Alyssa Kelly
Lee High

Senior Alyssa Kelly is one of the keys to Lee's recent run of success as the Wildcats drive for a Southern Division title. Although Lee's rugged early season (all North Division foes plus 2014 Western Mass finalist Sabis) left it 0-8 in early January, the 'Cats are 6-2 since then, including this week's wins over Lenox and Mount Everett, in which Kelly tied for team-high honors with 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Along with sophomore Karli Retzel, Kelly gives Lee a formidable one-two scoring punch as it heads into the final week of the regular season.

Devin Pelletier
Mount Greylock

Sophomore Devin Pelletier blew through the 100-win milestone in early January and continues to rack up W's for the Berkshire County Champion Mounties. On Wednesday night, he had a pin in a dramatic, one-point victory that clinched the county title. Last Saturday, he went 5-0 with five pins on the way to winning the 152-pound title at the 23rd annual Mountie Invitational.

Pelletier had one of the day's fastest pins — 16 seconds in the second round — and his longest bout lasted just 3:01. Pelletier and the Mounties will be strong contenders next week when they host the Western Massachusetts individuals meet on Friday and Saturday.

iBerkshires Sports and Capital Region Honda Dealers, including Bedard Honda in Cheshire, will be spotlighting two Berkshire County high school athletes each week, a boy and a girl, who best excelled in their sport or boosted their teams' efforts.
