Drury Bowlers Have a Field Day at Greylock Bowl and Golf

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Drury's Kayla Field rolled the day's top series to help lead the Blue Devils to a six-point win over Lee in the Berkshire County Bowling League on Tuesday at Greylock Bowl and Golf.
 
Field rolled a 469 series with the highest game of the day among girls, a 246, as Drury defeated the Wildcats, 18-1/2 to 12-1/2, in the first week of positional round play.
 
Drury and Lee finished the regular season as the league's top two teams, and they will face off against each other again next Friday at Ken's Bowl in Pittsfield.
 
Among the boys, Drury's Zach Yeaton outdueled Lee's Zach Wilson for the day's best series. Yeaton finished with a 460 (239). Wilson had the day's best game among all bowlers, 266, and the second-best series for the boys, 443.
 
Nickolas Johnson of Drury had the third-best series on the boys side (415) and the fourth-best series among all bowlers.
 
In the day's other marquee match, Pittsfield pulled ahead of Taconic for fourth place in the league standings with a 22-9 win in their match.
