McCann Tech Bowlers Stay Undefeated
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Aleasia Yeaton rolled a 348 series Tuesday to lead the McCann Tech Hornets to victory at Greylock Bowl & Golf as McCann improved to 3-0 and took over sole possession of first place in the Berkshire County League.
The Hornets defeated Wahconah, 2,388 to 2,021 to remain the league's only undefeated team after three meets this winter.
Wahconah slipped into a second-place tie at 2-1 with Drury and Mount Everett.
The Blue Devils earned a win over Mount Greylock behind Nickolas Johnson who rolled a 332 series (150-182). The Mounties' Taylor Callahan recorded the week's top series among the girls with a 383 (207-163).
Mount Everett dropped a 2,213-1,816 decision to Monument Mountain, which is tied for fifth with Pittsfield at .500.
On Tuesday, the Spartans' Tom Hankey Jr. again had the league's high game (277) and high series (499) in leading Monument Mountain to victory.
Pittsfield, meanwhile, earned a 2,118-1,848 win over Taconic. The Generals got a 428 series (235-193) from A.J. Moore.
The league is off until Jan. 9, when it returns to North Adams.
