McCann Tech Bowlers Improve to 4-0 at Greylock Bowl & Golf

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- McCann Tech's Chris Bostwick rolled a 236-203 to lead the Hornets to a one-point win over Pittsfield on Tuesday at Greylock Bowl and Golf as McCann retained first place in the Berkshire County League.
 
Bostwick's 439 series helped McCann Tech earn a 16-15 win over the Generals and improve to 4-0 on the season, one match ahead of Wahconah (3-1).
 
A.J. Moore rolled a 427 series (224) for Pittsfield, which slipped to 1.5-2.5 on the year.
 
Second-place Wahconah earned a 22-9 win over Drury behind a 421 (227) from Alex White. Justyn Cowell led the Blue Devils with a 418 series.
 
Monument Mountain, which tied Pittsfield earlier this year, is in third place with a record of 2.5-1.5 after edging Taconic on Tuesday.
 
The Spartans got a 387 (203) from Scott Larochelle. Taconic (0-3) was led by Lynsey Aldam, who rolled a 237 game and 422 series.
 
Tuesday's other match featured Lee and Mount Greylock.
 
The Wildcats prevailed, 25-6 behind Luke Standard (188-173--361) to pick up their first win of the season. Mount Greylock (0-3) was led by Taylor Callahan (140-154--294).
 
Action shifts to South County next week when the league competes at Cove Lanes on Friday. McCann Tech will take on Mount Everett, who had a bye on Tuesday.
