Vallone Leads McCann Tech Bowlers to 5-0 Record

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- McCann Tech's Brandon Vallone rolled the day's best game to lead the unbeaten Hornets to a 29-2 over Mount Everett on Friday at Cove Lanes.
 
Vallone posted games of 205 and 269 for a 474 series. McCann Tech ran its record to 5-0 this winter, one ahead of Wahconah (4-1) in the nine-team league standings.
 
Mount Everett got a 287 series from Tucker Wilkinson in the loss.
 
Second-place Wahconah kept pace with McCann by beating Mount Greylock, 29-2, behind Alex White's day's best 488 series; White rolled a 220-268 in the victory.
 
Mount Greylock got a 233 gam and 388 series from Taylor Callahan.
 
The day's closest match was a 17-14 win by Drury over Taconic.
 
Nick Johnson (198-196--394) led the Blue Devils, who improved to 3-2 this season.
 
Taconic got a 423 series (221-202) from Lynsey Aldam.
 
Monument Mountain stayed alone in third place with a record of 3.5-1.5 by beating Lee, 31-0. Tommy Hankey (212-226--438) led the Spartans. Lee got a 306 series from Jarrett Dohn.
 
League play continues on Friday at Ken's Bowl in Pittsfield, where McCann Tech rolls against Mount Greylock and Wahconah faces Pittsfield.
