McCann Tech Golfers Dominate at Home

ADAMS, Mass. -- Ryan Baran earned medalist honors with a 41 on Tuesday to lead the McCann Tech golf team to a dominating 23.5-.5 win over Pathfinder at Forest Park Country Club.
 
Baran was won of five players to earn a 4-0 win in his match. Only Pathfinder’s Alex Bergeron was able to take half a point against Cole Kratz, who carded a 45 in winning 3.5-.5 at No. 1.
 
“The guys played well today,” McCann coach Justin Kratz said. “We’ve been focusing on keeping it loose and having fun, and it showed today.
 
“I thought we were a bit tight and nervous the first [match]. Today was much more in line with what I know these guys are capable of.”
 
Dalton Tatro at 42 joined Baran and Kratz in the 40s. Logan Tower (50), Chris Rose (53) and Matt Jette (56) rounded out the scoring for McCann.
