Chicopee Comp Tops Mount Everett Icers

HOLYOKE, Mass. -- Chicopee Comp scored three straight goals to open the third period and earn a 6-4 win over Mount Everett on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Eagles went to the second intermission tied, 3-3, thanks to a pair of goals by Jake Corcoran and a goal from Andrew Conlon.
 
But Matthew Villandry scored his third of the game, a short-handed goal to put Comp on top in the 32nd minute. Carter Brunelle and Joshua King added insurance goals before Corcoran completed his hat trick with just less than three minutes remaining.
 
Jack Seward-Dailey stopped 22 shots for the Eagles, who host Belchertown on Wednesday.
