Mount Everett Icers Fall to Newtown, Conn.

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Dom Cartelli scored four goals Friday to lead Newtown, Conn., to a 9-3 win over the Mount Everett hockey team.

 

Newtown broke open a 1-1 game with four power play goals in less than three minutes in the second period after the Eagles drew a major penalty for hitting from behind.

 

Matt DiSilva scored twice, and Jake Corcoran added a goal and an assist for Mount Everett.
