Boomsma, Corcoran Lead Mount Everett Icers

WALLINGFORD, Conn. -- Jake Corcoran and Dylan Boomsma each scored a pair of goals Saturday to lead the Mount Everett hockey team to a 6-3 win over Sheehan.

 

Brendan Dempsey and Charlie Grace each scored twice for the Eagles, who got 34 saves from Cole Duval.

 

Mount Everett built a 3-1 lead in the first period, but Sheehan got back within a goal before the Eagles got goals from Corcoran and Boomsma 38 seconds apart from one another to take a 5-2 lead into the third.

 

Mount Everett hosts Taconic on Monday night.
