Pittsfield Girls, Boys Win on Taconic's Senior Day

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Jordan Bradford and Szofia Lewis were double winners Wednesday to lead the Pittsfield girls swim team to 109-60 victory over Taconic at the YMCA.
 
Pittsfield's boys also came out on top as Taconic celebrated Senior Day. The Generals got a pair of wins apiece from Isaac Boyd and Conor Mooney en route to a 92-14 win.
 
Pittsfield's swimmers swept the relays in both of the afternoon's contests.
 
As an individual, Bradford took the 200-meter freestyle in 2 minutes, 28.06 seconds and the 100 backstroke in 1:20.71.
 
Lewis won the 200 individual medley in 2:44.88 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:23.90.
 
Pittsfield's girls also got wins from Abby Marsh in the 50 free (33.69) and Nora Miller in the 100 fee (1:16.00).
 
Taconic's Caitlin Hall won the 100 butterfly in 1:16.59.
 
In the boys meet, Boyd won the 200 IM in 2:27.76 and the 100 breaststroke with no time recorded.
 
Mooney took the 50 free in 28.40 seconds and the 100 back in 1:18.40.
 
Pittsfield's Christian Marchbanks won the 200 free (2:50.46) and Matt Miller won the 100 back (1:18.40).
 
For Taconic, Steve Zuccolo won the 100 free in 1:06.19.
