Stripp Leads Mount Greylock Girls to Win Over Hoosac

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Sarah Stripp scored four goals to lead the Mount Greylock girls lacrosse team to a 15-6 win over Hoosac Valley on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Kelsey Orpin and Julia Whitney each scored twice for the Mounties, who got five saves from keeper Paige Willis.
 
Holly Cadren scored four for the Hurricanes, a cooperative team of Hoosac Valley and Drury.
 
Kelsey Holsey stopped 17 shots for Hoosac.
 
Earlier this year, Mount Greylock dealt a young Hoosac team a 14-1 loss.
 
"We showed a great deal of improvement from our last contest with Greylock," Hoosac coach Molly Meczywor said.
