Lenox's Meisberger, Pittsfield's Rich Named County MVPs

Lenox’s Shannon Meisberger and Pittsfield’s Jackson Rich were named the Berkshire County’s most valuable athletes by county’s high school track and field coaches.
 
Meisberger was one of five Millionaires named to the all-county team along with teammates Maggie Sorentino, Emma Jourdain, Tova Brown and Alice Najimy.
 
In addition to the overall MVP awards, the coaches named a track MVP and a field MVP for the boys and girls.
 
On the girls side, the field MVP is Monument Mountain’s Paige Gray, who was joined on the all-county team by fellow Spartans Allison Kinne, Meri Powell, Aubrey Blanchard and Delaine Rybacki.
 
The field MVP is Mount Greylock’s Maddie Albert. Joining her on the all-county team are teammates Margo Smith, Julia Szczepaniak and Ella Dudley.
 
Wahconah placed three girls on the all-county team: Gianna Moncecchi, Victoria Gamberoni and Lily Pudlo. The team is rounded out by Hoosac Valley’s Jamie Barthe and Pittsfield’s Sadie Supranowicz and Aliyah Bolling.
 
On the boys side, the field MVP is Hoosac Valley’s Peter Barrow, who earned all-county recognition along with Hurricane teammates Jared Haley and Avery Hall.
 
Track MVP Tommy Kirby is joined on the all-Berkshire team by Mount Greylock teammate Cameron Castonguay.
 
Four high school teams, including Hoosac Valley tied with three athletes apiece on the all-county team.
 
Wahconah places Matt Lighten, Sean Harvey and Devon Mikaniewicz. Monument Mountain honorees include Jordan Piepho, Matt Weston and Willie Serkin. Pittsfield’s Rich is joined by Kevin Rayner and Nate Robarge. And Taconic’s honorees are David Benle, David McIntosh and Zach Gage.
 
Drury’s Connor Meehan and Lenox’s Tyler Shepard each represent his school on the all-county squad.
