Wahconah Recognized for Sportsmanship by MIAA

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Wahconah Regional High School was one of nine schools across the commonwealth recognized Friday with one of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association's Sportsmanship Awards.
 
Wahconah was the winner for District G, one of the state's eight districts. Catholic Memorial and Malden Catholic shared the award in District H. District F honors went to Holyoke High School.
 
The plaque honoring the school reads: "Awarded in recognition of high standards of ethics and integrity in interscholastic athletics. Leadership by example becomes a model for all."
 
Athletes and administrators from Wahconah travelled to Gillette Stadium to receive the award at the MIAA's Leadership Summit.
