Joyner Game-Winner Lifts Mount Everett Icers

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Max Joyner scored early in the third period to break a 1-1 tie, and the Mount Everett hockey team Thursday went on to a 3-1 win over Wahconah.
 
The Eagles' Dylan Boomsma scored the game's first goal in the 17th minute with assists from Carly Duval and Aidan Engel.
 
But Wahconah struck back when Ryan LaPierre annd Ryan Polastri set up Nikos Gian for the tying goal moments later.
 
In the third, Caleb Kollmer and Brendan Dempsey had assists on Joyner's game-winner.
 
Dempsey then scored an insurance goal with help from Andrew Conlon and Jake Corcoran.
 
Jack Seward-Daley made 15 shots to earn the win in goal.
