PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- A.J. Moore rolled a 407 series Friday to lead the Pittsfield bowling team to a 19-12 win over Wahconah as the standings tightened up in the Berkshire County Bowling League.

McCann Tech remained unbeaten to stay atop the standings at 6-0 this winter.

But three teams are now within a game in the loss column of second-place Monument Mountain, which was idle on Friday at Ken's.

Pittsfield's win evened its record at 2.5-2.5 and leaves the Generals in fifth place, one game behind the Spartans (3.5-1.5).

In between, Drury and Wahconah each stand at 4-2, tied for third place.

On Friday, the Blue Devils beat Mount Everett, 25-6, behind a 423 series from Justyn Cowell and a 397 from Nicolas Johnson. Mount Everett's Tucker Wilkerson led the Eagles with a 363 series.

Wahconah was led by Amber Wood (426 series) in its loss to Pittsfield.

The league's top girl, Lynsey Aldam, rolled a 431 series to help her team defeat Lee, 18-13, in the day's closest match. The Wildcats got a 324 series from Anthony Delsoldato.

The day's high series once again belonged to McCann Tech's Brandon Vallone. His 460 and Aleasia Yeaton's 416 helped the Hornets beat Mount Greylock, 29-17. Reece Gillette rolled a 410 series for the Mounties.

On Friday, the league rolls at Cove Lanes in Great Barrington.
