Dos Santos Leads Wahconah Golfers to Win
STAMFORD, Vt. -- Jon Dos Santos carded an even par round of 36 to earn medalist honors and lead the Wahconah golf team to a 171-191 win over Drury on Thursday at Stamford Valley Golf Course.
Dos Santos birdied the first hole to start his round on the right foot.
The par-4 first hole was kind to several golfers on Thursday.
Collette Basiliere eagled the hole for Wahconah. Eighth-grader Justyn Cowell eagled it for Drury on his way to a team-best 42.
Drury (1-7, 0-5 Berkshire County North) hosts Mount Greylock on Tuesday.
