Warren Helps Lead Wahconah Volleyball Past Taconic

DALTON, Mass. -- Jess Warren recorded 25 digs and five aces Wednesday to lead to the Wahconah volleyball team to a four-set win over Taconic.
 
Wahconah took the first two sets before losing a squeaker in the fourth; it then rallied to a relatively easy win in the deciding fourth set to win 25-8, 25-9, 26-28, 25-13.
 
Emma Parkington had 10 kills, six aces and 16 digs, and Francesca Gigliotti had 25 assists and three blocks for Wahconah.
 
Taconic got four aces and three assists from Rachel Williams and four kills and a block from Victoria Tynan. Delaney Ivas had three kills, an assist, an ace and a dig in the loss.
 
Taconic host Mount Greylock, and Wahconah hosts Mount Everett on Friday.
