Mount Greylock Girls Tennis Improves to 2-1

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Mount Greylock’s Mia VanDeurzen edged St. Mary’s Alexis Shedd at No. 2 singles, 6-4, 6-4, as the Mounties earned a 4-1 win and improved to 2-1 on the season.
 
Hannah Gilooly also picked up a singles win, defeating Erin Olearcek at third singles, 6-2, 6-3.
 
The Mounties swept the doubles matches.
 
At first doubles, Emma Stankiewicz and Orianna VanSlyke won, 6-3, 6-1. At No. 2 doubles, Olivia Winters and Izzy Leonard won, 6-2, 6-3.
 
Jessica Crosby of St. Mary’s earned a 6-4, 6-0 win over Josie Dalsin for her team’s lone point at No. 1 singles.
