Wahconah's Lighten, Mount Greylock's Ross Compete at New Englands

DURHAM, N.H. -- Wahconah senior Matthew Lighten placed second in the 200 yard dash on Saturday at the 73rd annual New England Interscholastic Track and Field Championships at the University of New Hampshire.
 
Lighten clocked a time of 22.09 seconds to place behind Oakmont's John Caouette (21.95).
 
Mount Greylock sophomore Madison Ross placed 10th in the long jump with a leap of 17 feet, 5-3/4 inches.
 
Jada Johnson of Sharon, Mass., won with a mark of 18-7.25.
