WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Ava Simon and Piper Schulman won a second-set tie-breaker to help the Mount Greylock girls tennis team to a 4-1 win over Mount Anthony on Tuesday.

The Mounties swept singles play with straight-set wins from Mia Van Deurzen, Hannah Gilooly and Izzy Leonard.

At first doubles, Simon and Schulman beat Mount Anthony’s Chloe Gore and Lexi Gero, 6-0, 7-6 (8-6).

The Patriots’ tandem of Kristine McKenna and Abby Farnum took the point at second doubles to help the visitors avoid the sweep.
