GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Zach Yeaton rolled a 254 Friday at Cove Lanes to lead the Drury High School bowling team to a 20-11 win over Mount Greylock that allowed the Blue Devils to take over first place in the Berkshire County High School Bowling League.

The nine-point margin of victory allowed Drury to erase the one-point lead the Mounties took into the weekly matches and give the Blue Devils a five-point margin over McCann Tech, which moved into second place with a 31-0 win over Mount Everett.

Yeaton’s 254 was the high game for the week in the league. The top series was a 436 (230-206) from Lee’s Zach Reynolds, who helped the Wildcats defeat Wahconah, 27-4.

McCann’s Austin Davine had the week’s third-highest game (223) and third-highest series (417) in the win over Mount Everett.

Lynsey Aldam of Taconic had the high game (206) and high series (383) among the girls, leading her team to a 29-2 win over the Lee Black squad.

Friday’s fifth match pitted Monument Mountain against Pittsfield. Tom Hankey rolled a 407 series to lead the Spartans to a 25-6 win over the Generals.

On Friday at Ken’s Bowl in Pittsfield, McCann and Mount Greylock will battle one another while first-place Drury is challenged by Lee.

League standings: 1. Drury, 171 points; 2. McCann Tech, 166; 3. Mount Greylock, 163; 4. Monument Mountain, 127; 5. Pittsfield, 118; 6. Lee, 114; 7. Taconic, 80; 8. Wahconah, 64; 9. Lee Black, 42; 10. Mount Everett, 40.
