Mount Greylock's Pelletier Finishes High School Wrestling Career at New England Meet

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Mount Greylock senior Devin Pelletier went 2-2 this weekend at the New England High School Wrestling Championships.
 
Pelletier was eliminated in the round of eight of the 170-pound consolation bracket on Saturday by Natick's Tim Ramstrom, who pinned Pelletier at the 4 minute, 7 second mark.
 
Earlier Saturday, Pelletier earned a 5-0 decision over Mount Anthony Union's Austin Prendergast.
 
He started the tournament on Friday with a 5-2 loss to Benjamin Kibby of Granby Memorial in Granby, Conn. Pelletier came back to beat Zack Hamilton of Greater Lowell, Mass., 8-2, on Friday to stay alive in the consolation bracket.
 
Danbury, Conn., won the team competition with 114 points. Mount Anthony of Bennington, Vt, was third with 62.5 points.
 
The top Massachusetts finisher was Lincoln-Sudbury, with 51 points, in seventh place. Minnechaug placed ninth with 48 points.
