St. Joe Girls, Boys Top Wahconah

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Jesse Tobin and Emma Whitney each won two events to lead the St. Joseph girls swim team to a 124-43 win over Wahconah on Tuesday at the YMCA.
 
In the boys meet, Mike DiSanti, Artem Dudko, Matt Tobin and Brian DiSanti each picked up a win to lead the Crusaders to a 59-17 win.
 
For the girls, Jesse Tobin won the 200-yard freestyle in 2 minutes, 15.50 seconds and the 100 backstroke in 1:15.95.
 
Whitney won the 50 free (30.55) and the 500 free (5:14.09).
 
Both girls swam on winning relay quartets as well.
 
Whitney joined with Liz Bartlett, Julia Whitney and Liz Bernardy to win the 200 medley relay (2:24.56). Bartlett, Julia Whitney, Ellie Field and Tobin won the 200 FR (2:09.3), and Tobin, Bernardy, Field and Emma Whitney won the 400 FR (4:42.37).
 
There were no contested relays on the boys side, where Wahconah entered just two swimmers. One of them, Miles Cramer, won the 200 individual medley in 2:59.80.
 
For St. Joe, individual wins were earned by Mike DiSanti in the 50 free (:28.83), Dudko in the 100 free (1:05.69), Matt Tobin in the 100 back (1:34.77) and Brian DiSanti in the 100 breast stroke (1:36.03).
