St. Joe Girls Swim Past Wahconah
PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Liz Bernardy won the 100-yard freestyle and 200 individual medley to lead the St. Joseph girls swim team to a 66-28 win over Wahconah on Friday at the Boys & Girls Club.
The Crusaders picked up wins in each individual event from Elizabeth Bartlett (200 free), Ellie Field (50 free), Jesse Tobin (100 butterfly), Mary Kirsimagi (500 free), Emma Whitney (100 backstroke) and Julia Whitney (100 breast stroke).
Wahconah won won event, the 200 free relay. The winning quartet included Summer Daley, Bridget Lussier, Erin Archambault and Michaela DeFoe.
