Lenox Boys, Monument Girls Post Dual Meet Wins

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Andre Collins, Tristan Collins and Herkus Rudsinskas were double winners Tuesday to lead the Lenox boys track and field team to a dual meet win over Monument Mountain.
 
In the girls meet, Monument Mountain's Grace Phair and Lily Fredsall paced their team to victory with a pair of wins apiece.
 
Andre Collins won the discus with a through of 92 feet, 9 inches, and the javelin with a mark of 132-10.
 
Tristan Collins won the long jump in 17-2 and the triple jump in 36-7.
 
On the track, Rudzinskas won the mile (5:07.2) an dhte 400-meter hurdles (1:13.72).
 
Monument Mountain's Kieran Santos won the 100-meter dash (12.23) and placed second in the 200 to teammate David Flynn (26.26).
 
Phair won the 800 (2:31.84) and the mile (5:25.54) to lead the Spartans girls on the track.
 
Fredsall won the discus (77-8) and javelin (78-1).
 
The Lenox girls got a pair of wins from Solia Schmidt, who took the 100 hurdles in 18.21 and the long jump with a mark of 14-8.
