Pittsfield Swimmers Top Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Sophomores Jordan Bradford and Szofia Lewis each won a pair of events on Wednesday to lead the Pittsfield girls swimming team to a 99-71 win over Taconic at the YMCA.
 
Bradford won the 200-meter freestyle in 2 minutes, 27.85 seconds and won the 500 free in 5:09.85.
 
Lewis won the 50 freestyle in 31.10 and took the 100 breaststroke in 1:23.98.
 
Pittsfield also won the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay.
 
Taconic got a pair of wins from Caitlin Hall in the 200 individual medley (2:51.61) and 100 free (1:07.78). Delaney Ivas won the 100 butterfly (1:19.56), and Mikayla Moss won the 100 backstroke (1:56.66) for Taconic.
 
In the boys dual meet, there were only two contested events as Pittsfield rolled to a 93-8 win.
 
Hayden Plouffe won the 50 free in 29.20 and the 100 free in 1:09.88.
