Pittsfield Boys Track Wins City Championship

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Jay Doucette won the 100 meters and shot put and placed second in the discus to lead the Pittsfield boys track team to an 86-55 win over Taconic on Friday afternoon.
 
Doucette put the shot 40 feet, 1 inch and threw the discus 110-8. In the discus, he placed second to teammate Jacob Coles (116-1). Doucette won the 100 in 11.4.
 
Josh Bonny won the 110 hurdles (15.1) and the high jump (5 feet, 8 inches) for the Generals.
 
Matt Rabasco won the mile (4:43.8) and the 3,200 meters (10:25.9) for Taconic.
