Lenox Girls, Wahconah Boys Win at Bousquet

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Pittsfield High’s Ali Williamson took first place on Wednesday in the Berkshire County Alpine League race at Bousquet Ski Area.
 
Williamson finished with a time of 42.37 seconds, just a quarter second ahead of Lenox’s Ella King (43.12).
 
Lenox’s girls edged Monument’s with 60 team points after Alexa Dangle, Taylor Knight and Abby Caproni finished sixth, seventh and ninth, respectively.
 
Monument (54 points) was led by Micaela Bartlett and Carly Terranova in third and fourth, respectively.
 
In the boys’ competition, Wahconah’s Drew Dunham took first (41.93) to lead his team to a first-place showing. Bracken Burke was third and Ben Schmitt was seventh to give Wahconah 52 points.
 
Taconic’s Cody Latimer and Reilly Lynch placed second and fourth, respectively.
 
The Lenox and Pittsfield boys tied for second place with 40 points apiece.
 
Lenox was led by Conner McNinch in fifth. Pittsfield’s David Mansfield was sixth.
 
Monument’s Brighton Sawyer placed eighth. St. Joseph’s Mike Peplowski just missed the top 10, placing 12th.
