Hoosac Valley Golfers Shoot Low Round of Season in Home Finale

ADAMS, Mass. -- Derek Alibozek carded a 36 on Wednesday to earn medalist honors and lead the Hoosac Valley golf team to a 156-236 win over Pittsfield in the Hurricanes’ home finale at Forest Park Country Club.
 
Hoosac got a 38 from Henry Sniezek and a pair of 41s from Hayden Grimes and Corben Craig as the ‘Canes posted their lowest team score of the year. Grimes recorded a birdie on the 277-yard, par-4 ninth hole.
 
Liam Fitzgibbons carded a 48 for Pittsfield, which also scored rounds from Dakota Brazee, A.J. Moore and Dan Fitzgibbons.
 
On Thursday, Hoosac Valley goes to Mount Everett, and Pittsfield hosts Drury.
