LENOX, Mass. -- The Lenox girls volleyball team earned a three-set win over Mount Greylock to move within one win of a Western Massachusetts tournament berth.

The Millionaires (8-7) broke open a 15-15 first set and rolled to wins of 25-18, 25-23, 25-22 on Senior Night.

"We have two seniors -- Makayla [White] and Holly [Chapell], and today it was the highlight of the day," Lenox coach Bessena Cabe said. "They were really focused."

"I think it's just a matter of going back to the basics. We did a lot of practice drills in terms of serving. The girls were really serving to the spots today."

White continued the momentum of the first set win with a run of eight points on serve to open the second set.

Mount Greylock (10-4) battled back, tying the set at 19-19, but a service error gave the serve back to the hosts.

Chapell used a service winner to give her team a two-point lead, and the Millionaires never gave up their advantage the rest of the way.

Set three was a back-and-forth affair.

Mount Greylock tied the score, 22-22, but White recorded a kill at the net to regain the serve.

Then she served two straight points to win the match, getting the kill on match point.

Lenox will look to clinch a spot in the tournament on Friday at East Longmeadow.
