DALTON, Mass. -- Joe Woronick went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and four RBIs Friday to lead the Wahconah baseball team to a 15-0, six-inning win over Drury.

It was the final regular season home game on Wahconah's home field. The area currently used for a baseball field will be a construction zone at this time next spring as it plays host to the new Wahconah Regional High School.

Prior to the game, there was a ceremony that included past members of the Wahconah baseball family throwing out a ceremonial first pitch.

The home team went out in style with Chad Howes and Kyle Lee combining on a one-hitter.

Gabe Verdi went 4-for-4. Jake Gai and Tanner Hill each tripled, and Howes went 2-for-3 with three RBIs.

Dylan Crockwell had the lone hit for Drury (1-12), which hosts Hoosac Valley on Monday.

Wahconah (8-7) goes to Monument Mountain on Saturday.
