Zimmerman, Mount Greylock Hand McCann Tech Baseball Its First Loss

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Eli Ostheimer went 2-for-3 Wednesday to help the Mount Greylock baseball team earn a 5-0 win over McCann Tech.
 
Ostheimer and Reece Gillette each drove in a run, and Cole Wojtkowski doubled.
 
Bennett Zimmeran pitched a complete-game four-hitter to earn the win on the mound, striking out two and walking a pair.
 
Robert Matte III went five innings as a starter for McCann Tech, allowing five runs but just two earned runs.
 
Jacob Field doubled for the Hornets (8-1), who host Springfield Commerce on Friday.
 
Mount Greylock (5-1) goes to Pittsfield on Friday.
