SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Tim Robitaille hit a two-run single in a five-run fifth and turned in a strong relief appearance on the mound to lead the Mount Everett baseball team to a 7-3 win over Lee on Saturday afternoon.

The Wildcats (0-1) got off to a quick start with three unearned runs in the top of the first against starter Bradley Lupiani.

But the Eagles came back with a vengeance in the fifth. Sage Angell hit a two-run single and ended up stealing home base to tie the game, and Robitaille's two-RBI single put the home team on top.

In the sixth, Robitaille came on with men on second and third with nobody out and pitched his way out of the jam to save Lupiani's victory.

Mount Everett hosts Mount Greylock on Monday. Lee hosts Taconic on Tuesday.
