Marten, Guest Lead Mount Greylock Baseball to Win over Eagles

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Tyler Marten and Philip Guest Monday led the Mount Greylock baseball team on the mound and at the plate in a 5-1 win over Mount Everett.
 
Marten went 2-for-3 with two runs batted and stole three bases, while Guest was 2-for-3 with an RBI.
 
Guest also pitched six scoreless innings, striking out six, before handing the ball to Maren, who struck out two, walked one and allowed one unearned run.
 
Jack Carpenter drove in the lone Mount Everett run, bringing home Patrick Silk.
 
The Eagles (3-2) are home on Wednesday against Lenox.
 
Mount Greylock (3-0) hosts Turners Falls on Tuesday.
