Chris Larabee Leads Hoosac Valley Nine Past Mount Everett

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Chris Larabee went 2-for-3 with an RBI single in a key fourth-inning rally Monday to help lift the Hoosac Valley baseball team to a 5-2 win over Mount Everett.
 
Noah Matrigali went 2-for-4 with a double and a triple, and J.P. Levesque tripled and scored two runs for the Hurricanes, who opened a 4-0 lead with a three-run fourth inning for starter Devin Kogut.
 
Kogut struck out five and allowed one earned run in six innings to earn the win. He got one inning of no-hit, two-strikeout relief from Noah Matrigali.
Brendan Dempsey went 2-for-3, and Cavan Brady doubled for Mount Everett (8-6).
 
Hoosac Valley (7-6) hosts Lee on Wednesday.
