McNeice Pitches Taconic Past Hoosac Valley

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Jake McNeice allowed just two baserunners in six innings Tuesday to pitch the Taconic baseball team to a 12-0 win over Hoosac Valley.
 
McNeice struck out three, walked none and scattered two hits before handing the ball to Joe Heath, who pitched a scoreless seventh.
 
McNeice also went 2-for-4 with a double and four RBIs in a 19-hit Taconic offensive attack.
 
Jack Cooney went 3-for-4 and scored five runs. Brett Murphy and Cedric Rose each had a pair of hits.
 
Taconic (4-0) goes to Pope Francis on Friday.
 
Hoosac Valley (2-4) hosts Wahconah on Thursday.
