Livsey Leads McCann Tech Past Hoosac Valley

CHESHIRE, Mass. – Josh Livsey doubled twice and drove in a pair of runs Thursday to lead the McCann Tech baseball team to a 12-2 win over Hoosac Valley.
 
Livsey also threw a third of an inning of scoreless relief as the Hornets split time on the mound among four pitchers.
 
Lukas Rylander got the start and struck out four while allowing one hit and one run in two innings.
 
Nick Gilman and Seth Farnsworth also pitched in the combined six-inning two-hitter.
 
Owen Gagney went 2-for-3 with a double, and Ozzie Webber had three hits and two RBIs in a nine-hit McCann Tech attack.
 
Carson Rylander and Matt Witek split time on the bump for Hoosac Valley, which got hits from Witek and Caleb Harrington.
 
Hoosac Valley (0-5) hosts Lenox on Friday.
 
McCann Tech (5-3) goes to Hopkins Academy on Saturday.
