Joyce Leads Lenox Past Hoosac Valley

CHESHIRE, Mass. – Samuel Joyce went 3-for-4 with a double Friday to lead the Lenox baseball team to an 18-4 win over Hoosac Valley.
 
Cliff Flynn went 3-for-5, and Brendan Armstrong doubled for the Millionaires in the five-inning win.
 
Zack Nicotra got the start on the mound for Lenox, which improved to 3-6 with its second straight win.
 
Mike Szabo went 1-for-2 with a walk for the Hurricanes, who scored two runs in the bottom of the fifth.
 
Hoosac Valley (0-6) goes to McCann Tech on Monday.
 
Lenox hosts Westfield Tech on Saturday.
