Schneider Leads Wahconah Baseball Past McCann Tech

DALTON, Mass. -- Matt Schneider went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs to lead the Wahconah baseball team to a 10-1 win over McCann Tech on Saturday.

Shane Sinopoli went 2-for-4, and Cam Taylor tripled with three RBIs as Wahconah recorded four extra-base hits.

Gage Frazier went the distance on the mound, striking out eight to earn the win.

McCann Tech got its run in the first inning with an RBI double from Charlie Bohl.

The Hornets (4-2) host Pathfinder on Tuesday.

Wahconah (3-2) hosts Hoosac Valley on Thursday.
