Mount Greylock Powers Past Taconic

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Jake Benzinger had four hits and two RBIs to lead the Mount Greylock baseball team to a 13-4 win over Taconic on Thursday.
 
The Mounties (5-1) jumped out to a 4-0 lead after one inning after a rally keyed by Ian Brink's triple.
 
Mount Greylock went on to score seven in the third to get some insurance for starter Adam Hall, who struck out three in the win.
 
Kevin Squires had three hits for Taconic (3-5), which travels to East Longmeadow on Saturday.
 
Mount Greylock plays at Drury on Friday.
