Mestre, Taconic Shut Out Mount Greylock

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Izaiya Mestre struck out 10 and allowed just one hit in 6-⅓ innings of work Monday to lead the Taconic baseball team to an 8-0 win over Mount Greylock.
 
Mestre also went 2-for-3 with an RBI at the plate for Taconic, which ran its record to 6-0 this spring.
 
Drew DeMartino went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored, and Brett Murphy was 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs.
 
Cole Wojtkowski had the lone hit for Mount Greylock (4-2), which goes to Wahconah on Wednesday.
 
Taconic is at Ludlow on Wednesday.
