Guest Leads Mount Greylock Baseball to Opening Day Win

BENNINGTON, Vt. -- Phil Guest went 2-for-3 with a double at the plate and pitched three innings of hitless relief to lead the Mount Greylock baseball team to an 8-3 win over Mount Anthony Union on Friday.
 
Guest struck out three in relief of Cole Wojtkowski, who earned the win, striking out six and walking two while allowing three hits.
 
Eli Ostheimer went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs, and Reece Gillette drove in a pair for the Mounties (1-0), who head to Great Barrington to face Monument Mountain on Monday morning.
