Messina Gets Win, Mounties Qualify for Western Mass Tourney

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Cal Messina allowed just two hits and went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBIs to lead the Mount Greylock baseball team to a 17-0, five-inning win over Lenox on Friday.
 
With their 10th win of the season, the Mounties qualified for the Western Massachusetts Division 3 tournament.
 
Phil Guest went 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two runs batted in. Eli Ostheimer drove in four and tripled.
 
Ricky Armstrong and Josh Hunter each had a hit for Lenox.
 
The Mounties (10-4) host Amherst on Saturday morning.
